Untitled[edit]

There is an Artaria Edition ([1]) now in New Zealand which does not, I believe, claim descent (except perhaps in publishing several of the same composers, especially the now less known ones (or more generally, composers better-known then, less-known now, not always published by Artaria, sometimes by Litolff and others of its competitors, it's true)- its founder, Allan Badley, did his thesis on the cello concertos of Leopold Hofmann.). (They also publish editions of the Stamitz family, of Linley, Ordonez, Hummel, Pleyel, Vanhal, Ries, J M Kraus and others.)Schissel | Sound the Note! 15:31, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flaws[edit]

This article contains so many flaws which are at odds with the most important literature (Hilmar 1977, Slezak 1987), that it should be completely rewritten.--62.47.131.160 (talk) 22:49, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Falacies[edit]

in 1765 in Vienna, then the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Sorry, sorry, but Austrian-Hungarian empire (according to the common knowledge and the Wikipedia link itself!) did not exist in 1765, it only appeared in 1867 and lasted until 1918. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.55.138.13 (talk) 22:13, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
