KeepWP:Notability (journalists) was rejected, so there is no clear standard for the notability of journalists. But since he's an editor-in-chief for Sport Express, the biggest-selling sports newspaper in Russia, and has written for The Guardian, his role in major news sources seems to indicate notability.
