2009 convection for selling access to Hezbollah's satellite television channel?[edit]

Is Javaid Iqbal the same person as Javed Iqbal (satellite television installer) from New York that was convicted in 2009 for "selling" access to Hezbollah's Al Manar satellite television channel?

  • "US jails man over Hezbollah channel – Pakistani man jailed for broadcasting Al Manar station inside the US". Al Jazeera. 24 Apr 2009. {{cite web}}: no-break space character in |title= at position 38 (help)

Javed Iqbal was sentenced to more than five and a half years in prison for broadcasting Al Manar channel, run by Hezbollah, an armed Lebanese group branded a terrorist organisation by the US.
