Additional information

[edit]

Perhaps this information can be improved by making it a sub-article of Demographics of California#Asian Americans. There is a lot of information there, that if this article was used as a sub-article, could reduce that article's size, and be used here.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 19:27, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Evaluation of this article

[edit]

Upon evaluating this article, I found that the source is unreliable because the link does not even work. Additionally, I think the biggest issue is the fact that this article only utilizes one source, which doesn't even work. This information could very well be out of date considering the fact that the only source it links to does not work. There is so much more information that could be added to this article, such as more information on when and how certain Asian groups migrated to California. Asian Americans and the Spanish language

[edit]

In the source that has been included to prove that Asian Americans in California speak Spanish, I see mentions of Spanish surnames and Spanish ancestry, but nothing about the language. --Jotamar (talk) 17:56, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, Mr Shhh, you added a quote that I can't check for the moment, so I'll have to trust you. Nevertheless, notice that "they can speak Spanish" does not mean that "they do speak Spanish". As for me, I doubt very much that they ever speak it. Please think for a while what kind of (mis)information we are giving to WP readers, and whether what we are saying in the infobox is just misleading for them. --Jotamar (talk) 16:04, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
