Irritation from dried plants
I realize this is heresay, so not valid in the article, but perhaps somebody will be saved an unpleasant experience: A local gardener told me that gardeners dislike cleaning up dead asparagus plants because the foiliage dries into sharp spicules that can cause intense eye irritation and possibly contact dermatitis. 2600:1700:6AE5:2510:0:0:0:24 (talk) 01:25, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
