"rukh" can not be persian.it's an arabian word.it's mean soul, but this word was adopted from arabian only after islamisation of persia and only a muslim person was named with the name "-rukh" . asparuk or isperikh is a turcic word:isper or ispir's mean is a raptorial bird "peregrine"."-ik" is diminutive suffix in turkish..

Much more smarter linguists than you stated that the etymology of the word as iraninan origin. You must have in mind that not only in turkish there is a suffix -ik but in slavik and nordic. Ispir is a modern turkish word Ispor is the old spelling of Asp (hors) it is iranian word. "Ispir" has notning to do with Ispor ligusticaly ot meaning. It is something like to say that the country Turkey comes from the chicken turkey.

I have something to say about the meaning of the word and this whole article as wrong. Rukh is not correct spelling as it is Rauka and the name should sound like "Asparauka", rauk means in old persian "white, bright" and the name must be "He who has white horses" or The white horseman.
