[Untitled][edit]

The article opens with the statement "In Brythonic mythology an Asrai is...". What is meant here by "Brythonic mythology"? I know of no comparable name in the folklore of Wales. Is it found in Cornish folklore? The name sounds more Scandinavian than Celtic (cf. Aesir). Enaidmawr (talk) 00:21, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Specimen count[edit]

So, are we talking about a single creature, or a whole species? Booger-mike (talk) 00:22, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I just read Rosalind Kerven's book with its mentions of asrai. I feel it's important to mention that this isn't another folk version of the story, but is a retelling based on Ruth Tongue's story. Kerven literally cites Ruth Tongue's Forgotten Folk Tales as her source. It might be good to rephrase the description to make this clear, or cut this source entirely.
