confusion
introduction is confusing. after pointing out the difference between AD and AtD it is said that AtD often become directors. then hitchcock is mentioned as an AD (not AtD!) who progressed to director. so ADs also used to become directors? why mentioning former standard careers of AtDs at all when the article is about ADs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.238.175.48 (talk) 01:01, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
