Assistive vs Accessibility[edit]

Given the scope of this particular article, I have been wondering that the two topics - 'Assistive Technology for Deaf and Hard of Hearing' and 'Accessibility for deaf and hard of hearing', of which the latter does not have a wiki article, might be very closely aligned in a lot of ways. The initial idea for starting this article was to create an article with a focus on technology employed by deaf and hard of hearing populations, under Assistive Technology. I am of the opinion that computer/information accessibility for these members can also be a part of this article as a section, thereby including a lot of research work and software from the accessibility field. Should there be sufficient content for the topic 'technology/computer/information accessibility for deaf and hard of hearing', it would be worthwhile for it to have an article of it's own.

Some members in the community might also argue against the use of the term 'Assistive', and might prefer 'accessible instead' - in this case, the contents of this article should be moved to a more appropriately suited article. Ndhaijaan (talk) 3:48, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
