This reliability issue when we're talking about professional and research organizations is a tough one. The so called sister organizations ACADIA, eCAADe, CAADRIA, SIGraDi and ASCAAD all have entries in wikipedia and reference one another. All are recognized as serious organizations, carring on annual congresses where fellow researchers from the most prestigious universities meet, present papers, and debate. All of them publish Conference Proceedings. All of them have the presented papers republished in http://cumincad.scix.net/cgi-bin/works/Home CUMinCAD.

I've seen this tag "this article needs references..." but it would be wise to check the articles, since all of them are loaded with as many references as possible. Unfortunatelly, most of the references are taken from the organizations themselves, which might not suffice...

May have been slightly miss-tagged. I don't see ANY references in this article, reliable or not. It needs some. --Uncle Milty (talk) 23:08, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing information[edit]

  • The missing locations and host universities for the conferences are not listed on Cumincad's database of proceedings. Perhaps they can be found in the original published conference proceedings.HeinrichCeag (talk) 18:22, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Missing entries in the awards tables.HeinrichCeag (talk) 19:29, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removed subsection[edit]

The subsection "Competitions" was removed, because it looks to be obsolete, and had a self-promotional tone. If someone finds more up-to-date information, please post. The deleted text read: "ACADIA has been a pioneer in the use of the web for conducting design competitions. It held its first online competition and review in 1998. The second competition, in which entrants also served as jury, was held in 2001." HeinrichCeag (talk) 18:37, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
