AFD[edit]

(Requesting speedy deletion (CSD A7). I dream of horses (talk)22:41, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Astra SpA is a part of the Iveco/FIAT Gp. Just like Iveco Magirus, ENASA, et al. all of which have their own articles.--Degen Earthfast (talk) 22:33, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I dream of horses, You say that Astra SpA as an article about a company, corporation, organization, or group that does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject. Have you seen Template:Fiat Group, which shows the brand Wikilinks for the FIAT Group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Degen Earthfast (talkcontribs) 22:37, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, I didn't see the template, but now that I have, I don't see the Astra SpA link. --I dream of horses (T) @ 00:29, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
My point being that the various brands under FIAT have their own articles, which see Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Iveco, Abarth, Lancia, and Ferrari. Also Iveco Magirus, Irisbus, Seddon Atkinson, subsidiary brands of Iveco. My point is that the precedence is already there. The article therefore makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7--Degen Earthfast (talk) 16:36, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Language[edit]

This reads in some places as if its a bad translation & in places has untranslated text (some now removed). Is part of it a Cut & paste job from another web site as some also reads as PR type phrasings. (blanked but needs a rewrite in English or removing completely - I canot decide what it should actually say in neutral (non PR) English).

But it is good to find articles on these more specialist companies appearing rather than just the well known brands names to give a more complete picture of conglomerates like Fiat. (just because you may not heard of the firm should not be a reason to Speedy delete ! ) - 79.74.43.188 (talk) 23:58, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguous title[edit]

There is also a rocket manufacturer called Astra. Maybe Astra (Italian company) or Astra (automotive company)? --mfb (talk) 17:02, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Found its article: Astra Space. Good enough I guess, but we might put a note here for people looking for the other company. --mfb (talk) 17:06, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
