Primary meaning[edit]

The current name of this dab is Atom Smasher (disambiguation), not Atom smasher (disambiguation), so this change is deemed incorrect. The spelling of the primary topic will have to remain as "Atom Smasher" until, that is, when and if a page move is requested. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IMHO you are taking the wrong approach here Sess - the article Particle accelerator very clearly shows "atom smasher" with all lower case letters. This is not a proper name it is simply a noun ... it is "an atom smasher" and this is the way the lead sentence should be shown. The fact that the dab page uses capitals is immaterial. the lead should read:
An atom smasher is a particle accelerator. Abtract (talk) 17:29, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Then have the dab page moved. Otherwise, leave it be. I'm sure User:JHunterJ will tell you the same thing. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:06, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm in favor of moving it to Atom smasher (disambiguation), since the primary meaning of the term is not a proper noun. --George100 (talk) 04:07, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
