Yea, this article is just wrong on many counts. Several states do not allow a combined attestation clause and self-proving affidavit, but this article asserts they are one and the same. It even has a redirect. I'm going to delete most of it. MmmmJoel (talk) 11:02, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is it's function?[edit]

So it basically is defined as, "The Attestation Clause obsoletes the need for affidavits from an attesting witnesses in the admition of a will to probate."??
