Date of death?[edit]

OK, the first sentence says he died 28 June 1776, while the last sentence says he died 1st September. (And I see the French-language Wikipedia has the same discrepancy.) Which is the correct date? Muzilon (talk) 10:13, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
