A mistake[edit]

The statement "Sir Austin Bradford Hill FRS (8 July 1897 – 18 April 1991), English epidemiologist and statistician, pioneered the randomized clinical trial and, together with Richard Doll, was the first to demonstrate the connection between cigarette smoking and lung cancer." is not right, since before 1940s there were already some studies suggesting or proving a link between tobacco smoking and lung cancer, see themes in Nazi propaganda and David Michaels's Doubt is Their Product.--RekishiEJ (talk) 14:01, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've corrected the statement mentioned above, replacing "was the first to demonstrate" by "demonstrated".--RekishiEJ (talk) 06:48, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
