Content/Style

• "a position that also put him in charge of Central Flying School...": "a position that also put him in charge of the Central Flying School..."
  • The RAAF (and I think the Australian military in general) usually doesn't employ the definite article for units but I've added it since I used it in the lead.
• I notice you don't appear to have linked ranks in the text. Not insisting on it but just wanted to check this wasn't an oversight given the second image does link ranks (see comment below RE second image).
  • I generally don't link ranks unless they're stand-alone (as in that image), partly to avoid a sea of blue when there's a notable person preceded by rank.
• RE that second image, is the William Murphy mentioned the Arthur Murphy mentioned in the equipment section (the link is to Arthur William Murphy)? If so, please amend for consistency.
  • That was a typo -- tks.
• "The B.E.2 was that piloted...": at first glance I thought this was a typo then realised it wasn't. I wonder if you might want to rephrase, I can just see an editor reversing "was that" without fully reading the context.
  • Yeah, fair enough -- reworded slightly.
• "Second Commonwealth Government Peace Loan": it is not clear to me what this is to justify tours and exhibition flights.
  • Yeah, there really needs to be an article on the Peace Loans but I don't have time at the moment -- tweaked to clarify.

• The url for the Sutherland link is dead (came up in the external links check)
  • Updated.
• Apart from that, all looks good.

Other stuff

• Images appear to have appropriate tags.
• For sake of consistency, you might want to consider removing the links in the caption for the second image as none others have them
  • I think keeping them would be in line with my general method noted above, but no issue with removing.
• No dupe links
• No dab links
