Taken word-for-word from their official page. I came here looking for actual info and all I get is the same double talk. Dlohcierekim 14:21, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because this site is a legitimate political party that is only around 3-4 months old has been registered with the AEC and contested the 2013 Federal Election in the five mainland states of Australia.

At this time there is a very limited amount of information available other than what has been provided by the party itself, due to the age of the party.

We are happy to take advice from those who are more experienced in writing these articles, however we feel that a speedy deletion is not appropriate at this stage.

Rather we request that someone provide specific suggestions on how this article should be updated, based upon the limited amount of source material available. It will be edited/updated once details of the election results have been finalised. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.137.93 (talk) 14:55, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT- It seems while I was writing my own counterarguement against the speedy delete someone else went and added their own so, merging my section into theirs.
This page is not unambiguously promotional, because following the 2013 Federal Election the party may have won a seat in the Australian Senate: http://www.abc.net.au/news/federal-election-2013/results/senate/vic/ However only about 60% of the vote is counted as of right now. Fairly sure that if the party is represented in the Australian government the party would be notable to documented. This means at the very least a speedy delete should probably be held off until the vote counting is finished. Should they not actually managed to gain a seat then I have no objection to the delete. :--124.176.117.107 (talk) 15:00, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... Probably worth at least having an article now that they have a senator... --58.96.49.31 (talk) 16:14, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... they just got a senate seat --74.15.95.215 (talk) 17:15, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

Does appear to be an actual party which has stood candidates. This is sufficient notability for an article to exist; actual issue should be NPOV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.86.67.191 (talk) 19:51, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So what is the party's political agenda or policies?[edit]

This article doesn't give any clue about the party's political agenda. What are they hoping to achieve by getting members in Parliament? What are their policies? What legislation do they intend to initiate or support? (Presumably to do with motoring or the interests of drivers - but this by itself is pretty vague.) If anyone who knows about this could add some details, it would greatly improve the article, and help give a clearer understanding of who this party is, and what they want to achieve. — Preceding unsigned comment added by M.J.E. Sorry, forgot to sign. (Upon noticing, I wasn't sure whether to just add this postscript, or whether to edit the preceding text to look exactly as if I had signed it. I opted for the former.) M.J.E. (talk) 17:41, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I also have reduced a few of the citations, such as "a meeting will be held on..." and "the outcome of a meeting was..." to remove the first one. --Scott Davis Talk 01:16, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
