Verbs that make assumptions[edit]
What is the Wikipedia standard for discussing evidence-free hypothetical objects? Is it appropriate to say "Axion conversion into photons is stimulated by X" rather than "Axion conversion into photons should be stimulated by X" or "X should stimulate axion conversion into photons"? The first version implicitly assumes that the statement is true, but axions might be different or nonexistent. - Frankie1969 (talk) 11:20, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
