Primary Sources[edit]

If we are discussing a lawsuit, what is the best source of information about the lawsuit. How about providing a pointer to the actual lawsuit at the court? This would be better than pointing to an media article behind a paywall.

On Wikipedia, secondary sources are preferred to primary sources and whether a source is paywalled is not a relevant factor (except possibly being a reason against if all other factors are equal and there's a reason not to give multiple sources). — Bilorv (talk) 19:53, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal of PornMD[edit]

I propose the article PornMD should be merged into MindGeek. PornMD is not considered notable outside of the context of MindGeek. The article is currently a very short stub, and most of its references do not seem credible at all. It would be much better suited for this page. AlmTec (talk) 17:00, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Advertising[edit]

The current Advertising section is overwhelmingly focussed on PornHub, so maybe should be moved to that article? Also, perhaps the song performed by Coolio to advertise PornHub (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I65f-B5-ePw) is sufficiently notable to be mentioned in the same paragraph? 49.186.97.168 (talk) 07:11, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Some of it could definitely be moved to Pornhub, yes. If there are reliable secondary sources that comment on the Coolio song then it should be covered. You're welcome to make these changes yourself. There is no-one on Wikipedia assigned to make changes to any article; we are all volunteers and expected to be bold and make improvements when we notice they can be made. — Bilorv (talk) 17:33, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Founding history[edit]

Looking over the history section, should the founding of the company in the infobox be traced to Mansef (2004) or Manwin (2010) when Thylman bought Mansef and Interhub (Pornhub) and joined them? Morbidthoughts (talk) 19:37, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Canadian" Fabian Thylmann[edit]

Thylmann was born in Germany. Neither the English nor the German Wikipedia page on him mention anything about him being or becoming Canadian. I'll change this to "German" until a source is given to verify a different nationality. 87.168.118.223 (talk) 07:55, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
