Rename[edit]

We are going to have to move/rename this page for disambiguation purposes. Another Azam Tariq has recently been named primary spokesman of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.--RDavi404 (talk) 15:38, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Head of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi[edit]

The lead section says that Azam Tariq was the head of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, but the body says that Riaz Basra founded Lashkar-e-Jhangvi after a disagreement with Tariq (which would suggest that Tariq was never part of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi). Neither statement is cited, but the latter has more detail and therefore seems more likely to be accurate. I'm removing the statement in the lead until someone has more information. A.
