Azhoor,pathanamthitta[edit]

Azhoor is a beautiful village,close to Pathanamthitta town and shares boundry with makkamkunnu and kodunthara.Because of its proximity to the Achankoil river it is flood prone during rainy.Summer season is dry with occassional showers.

==There is not much need to talk about the farming at Azhoor as a marginal number of full time farms exist here.Crops include Rubber,Co-Conut,banana along with other fruits like jack fruit,Guava etc.

A few population depend on Live stock for their livlihood.

== Economy No business exist here.Most of the people are NRIs and Government employees who work in far away palces.
