Net Worth speculation[edit]

Appreciate the approach of leaving a contested information blank. But regarding the "known for" template, he is also an educationist and so he being the chancellor and founder of a university is a vital information that deserves mention in the infobox. Kindly look at articles of other billionaire entrepreneurs like Cornelius Vanderbilt, Bill Gates, J. R. D. Tata, etc. Their infoboxes contain businesses they founded. Charitable establishments are the effect of that income source. Pls remove them from infobox.

This person is an educationist friend. See the report on The Hindu. No where you could see any reference to the companies you said. It simply says he is a businessman and is predominantly famous for establishing that university. I don't understand why you want that particular piece information be removed. Also are you sure those companies were all founded or co-founded by Mr. Rahman? For instance there is no mention of him in the official website of Star Health Insurance. He or any of his family members cannot be seen in the board of members list. But you say he founded the company. Try to bring reliable sources for these claims otherwise we would have to get those information removed. Malayala Sahityam (talk) 05:05, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
