UK/Scotland[edit]

I just noticed that this edit was undone. I'm pretty sure this IP is right though in adding UK. If you look at S4C for example, UK is listed there too. Joshua Lee ^{talk softly, please} 11:12, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'd assumed it was one of the many drive-by POV pushers, though I should have probably given a more neutral edit summary. Incidentally I revert the other way in instances when UK would be more appropriate. If the category was "nation state", possibly, but BBC Alba's constituency is Scotland, which is a country. It isn't, as far as I'm aware, available in any of the other constituent countries of the UK so to say Scotland is more specific and accurate. Check yesterday's version of S4C and clock who was responsible for changing it to the version you saw. Mutt Lunker (talk) 11:51, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

BBC Alba is available throughout all the UK's constituent countries on Sky. I myself watch it when I'm visiting family in York for example. I have noticed your changes to other articles and appreciate the hard work. :) In this case though I believe UK is suitable because it can be viewed anywhere in the UK with the right provider. new programes[edit]

why don,t you put more comedy programes on like the vital spark,etc a lot of the stuff is pretty boreing, even though i was born and bred in the islands and am a native gaelic speaker i think a lot of is rubbish except for the children,s programe,s you have to revamp the adult side if you want to win more viewers.194.164.38.167 (talk) 19:03, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
