Expand Stub[edit]

Hello, article editors! I'm going to take a stab at expanding this stub in consultation with some BTRC experts -- let's see how well we can develop these MCB entries. I'll add some scientific references, provide a lot of references, and do some other editorial clean-up. For some reason, though, I can't seem to create multiple references to some of the footnotes.
