[Note that Virgil Gay Bogue is not any relation to the Virgil Bogue who helped develop this community. The correct Virgil Bogue was my (Dean Speer) grandmother's older brother. Their father was Gilbert Foster Bogue, after whom I named. A lot of histories of Seattle confuse the two Virgil Bogues, but they were not related.]
