Performance[edit]

This section seems a little . . . off. The bottlenecks/performance of BackupPC are really due to the underlying protocols and hardware. Two of my systems each get 28MB/s as their transfer speed, rather than the max of 13MB/s. The point isn't that the speeds listed on the page should be updated to reflect these numbers- the point is simply that the entire performance section itself should have less unverified data and more discussion about the various underlying protocols. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.248.75.41 (talk) 05:25, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality[edit]

I think this article is a bit biased, could it be made any better Snailwalker | talk 20:28, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can try to make it a bit less biased. I'm not involved with the BackupPC project, but I will look at the other backup system descriptions to get a better feel of how I should write this.JonnyRo | talk 20:32, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Deletion[edit]

Removed the proposed deletion for lack of software notability. It might not be the best article, but the software is well known. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 20.132.64.141 (talk) 17:54, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Re-removed notablility tag. If notability is still in question, please discuss here. --Treekids (talk) 17:13, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
