Cleanup[edit]

This article, which I'm not even sure can stand on its own without some references, needs a bit of work. Too much subjective writing. I'm certain there have been published film critics who've written on this subject, so can any interested party please do some legwork on the research? Cheers, dfg (talk) 18:10, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:06, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced, could be deleted[edit]

As it stands, this article is unlikely to survive a deletion discussion. It lacks even a single reliable source to confirm that "bad girl" is a recognized film genre. It's really just a vague description followed by a list of actors whom editors have subjectively identified as bad girls. Pburka (talk) 14:29, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Criteria for inclusion?[edit]

Are there references available to support the categorization of any of these films as "bad girl movies", or are these simply included at the whims of Wikipedia editors? pburka (talk) 17:27, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@UnhappyCanuck: I see that you're engaged in a large scale clean up and expansion of the list. Do you have any thoughts on notability, criteria for inclusion, and whether this list constitutes original research? Unless the entries can be sourced, I'm inclined to propose deleting the list entirely and redirecting the page to Film noir or Women in film. pburka (talk) 03:21, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've initiated a merge discussion. Please see Talk:Film noir#Proposed merge of Bad girl movies into Film noir. pburka (talk) 18:39, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
