Early History

The first 70 years or so is contained in one para and a bit sourced from an out-of-date company web site and a dead link. There is a mini-history published in Construction News Magazine in 1984. I can use that to produce a slightly longer early history section, properly sourced - if there are no objections.Bebington (talk) 10:21, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Fine with me. Dormskirk (talk) 10:33, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Is BB UK No1 Construction firm ?

Last published Construction News Top 100 listed BB as No1 at £5.85 billion t/o & Carrillion No2 At £3.59 billion (prior to Alfred McAlpine @ no12 with £1.12 billion being bought)

The source listed Gives BB as £6.6 billion & Carillion at £4.3 billion. So ? -BulldozerD11 (talk) 22:03, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

there is no problem with you listing it as no.1 but you need to replace the existing source which (wrongly) says it is no.2 Dormskirk (talk) 22:54, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Not checked if other firms bigger than Carrillion as that was last years list, depend probably as to whose table used, as to what's a construction firm as all rebranding as Support services and some involved in other business as well - BulldozerD11 (talk) 23:52, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
