Pirro?[edit]
Don Giovanni premiered in October, while in the Giovanni Paisiello article I read:
- R 1.72 Pirro (12.1.1787 Naples, Teatro di S Carlo)
In fact Budden in NG is distinguishing the all-wind banda from mixed ensembles, not claiming precedence for Pirro's stage band. Sparafucil (talk) 02:04, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- Oops, further checking clarifies that the date is 12 Jan. I've guessed as to Ricciardo e Zoraide's exact significance. Btw, there is already an Offstage brass and percussion which might influence how we decide on the scope of this particular article. Sparafucil (talk) 22:11, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
