Reassignment centers[edit]

I take issue with the assessment equating banishment rooms to NYC reassignment centers. The reassignment centers are seen as a temporary measure to manage teachers while their disciplinary hearings are pending, the understanding being that if they are cleared of the disciplinary charges they will be returned to productive work. There is no understanding or expectation that teachers assigned to reassignment centers will hopefully become bored of their tasks and quit. The fact that some teachers may quit during such assignments is beside the point; such resignations are not the express purpose of the centers.

I believe the equating of these two concepts constitutes a bit of synthesis on the part of the author, and should be removed. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 13:08, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
