I have reinstated this aricle as it wrongly redirects to the artcile Sort code. If if is to be absorbed into another article (eq Bank Identifier Code, then that article should be written first. BTW, the article Bank Identifier Code is wrongly directed to Business Idenertifier Code. Martinvl (talk) 17:47, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
"Bankleitzahl" is merely the German word for a Bank Identifier Code -- it is not a system, Germany and Austria don't even share one system for account numbers (except IBAN). --91.66.203.114 (talk) 20:38, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
