Discussion[edit]

To reduce confusion in nomenclature of the breeds, I would ask that we work together to create a common description of Barbados Blackbelly, American Blackbelly, and Barbado. We are not doing these breeds any service by confusing people. The Barbados Blackbelly is all but extinct in the U.S. as a result of people not understanding that it is a separate and distinct breed from the Barbado and American Blackbelly.
