Murder

Its hardly sensitive to put the murder of a little girl under trivia, can anyone think of a better title, I can't at the moment think of what to put it but if someone can can you change it please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.200.220.2 (talk) 16:19, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Tube?

Not sure if this is the correct name for the article, as it isn't a "tube" station, it is a "cut and cover" station. The official designation is surely "Barbican Underground station"?  BRIANTIST  (talk) 12:39, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about the slow reply but I think that train has left ... there are a lot of C&C stations being referred to as tube, and the word "tube" has gained very general currency for the whole system, irrespective of tunnel depth. I know it irritates purists, but to change it all over Wikipedia would involve a massive crusade and require the support of the relevant project(s), which I sincerely doubt would happen. Sorry! Murder 2

Does the murder, sad though it is, need to be listed? I just wonder how it meets notability; if we listed every murder in London in its venue I fear that the encyclopaedia would overbalance! Now that the article is bigger and has more content, should we consider removing this bit? What do you think? Best wishes DBaK (talk) 11:44, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

Agreed, always thought it odd that this particular murder is described. --TBM10 (talk) 19:30, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
Thank you. I have removed it, but will be happy to discuss it if people strongly feel that it should be in. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 10:20, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Accident

"On 16 December 1866 three passengers were killed ... when a girder collapsed onto a passenger train in the station. ... Four people died during the accident, and a fifth (a workman involved in the accident) died while awaiting trial." So how many people were killed? --TBM10 (talk) 20:48, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
