John of Ghent[edit]

John of Ghent May be the same person mentioned as hermit and prophet, who died at Troyes in 1439 in Roman Catholic Diocese of Troyes. Can anyone confirm?

Abbots of Peartenau[edit]

Deda, occurs 730^[1]
Aldwinus (mentioned by Bede without date)^[2]

in Bowyer^[3] and other 18th & 19th century authors Peartenau is identified with Bardney, and these two are shown in the lineage for Bardney. But Bede mentions Peartenau and Beardeneu in adjacent paragraphs. The identification is not made in other authorities. Pearteneau is likely to be Partney.^[4]^[5]^[6]
