Does this page still need attention? I did go thru and reference everything that needed it.--Bedford 05:23, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fire Base Tomahawk?[edit]

I was surprised there's no mention of the Viet Nam Fire Base Tomahawk tragedy, where five National Guardsmen from Bardstown / Nelson County were all killed on the same day. Seems I remember hearing something about it being one of the largest per capita losses by a town during the entire conflict. I've got some other "irons in the fire" right now, but if no one else adds anything to the History subsection about it within a few mos. I'll try to come back and do it. Those brave men deserve to be remembered. Sector001 (talk) 16:10, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Killings[edit]

Is there any reason as to why the killings that occurred here are not mentioned? 101.98.165.137 (talk) 20:45, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Second oldest city in Kentucky?[edit]

Beware of tourist-y proclamations: I can name 6 cities (and one fort/city) established prior: Harrods Town, Logans Station, Boonesborough, Maysville, Lexington, Louisville, Fort-on-Shore. I’m certain there are a few more. And all but one still exist today. Sbalfour (talk) 21:34, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown"[edit]

I would suggest changing description of the main picture in infobox. But I am not familiar with this place so I am not sure what building it is. Triquelito (talk) 11:26, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
