Multiple tags applied[edit]

It's not surprising that this article is still a stub after nine years. It's a disgrace. Created in May 2006, it was tagged "verify" in August 2006. Fast forward and it still has no inline citations, but the tag has disappeared. The article constantly refers to Stanton by his first name, has an overall unencyclopedic tone, and has its share of unverified puffery. A large number of sentences have detailed knowledge of Stanton's personal life and attitudes, leading an impartial observer to wonder whether such content constitutes original research or brilliant research. One doesn't know at this time because of the complete lack of inline citations. Readers should not be put in the situation of scratching their heads about whether an article is fact, or part fact, part fiction! CaesarsPalaceDude (talk) 22:32, 5 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
