Seriously?[edit]

"The perfection of his work seems to have unsettled his contemporaries, and some claimed the stark contrasts in his printing damaged the eyes."

The whole article, and this sentence particularly, seems laughably non-NPOV. I'm not going to edit it myself as an article on a typeface doesn't seem all that important to be NPOV, but I'm just pointing this out. 86.7.16.29 (talk) 20:51, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I did not put it there- but I think it is an interesting note, and most people on this page would probably be interested in it. I bought a few books on this font, I will try to come back and add sources on what is here in some time. What version of Baskerville is in the example graphic on the upper right of the aritcle?[edit]

I ask since I have 15 different versions of Baskerville, and none of those have the exact same small "a" as in the Wikipedia article upper right graphic — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.170.135.182 (talk) 10:19, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It says below. Baskerville Ten by František Štorm. Like the article says, a lot of Baskerville versions have a different 'a' based on derivative fonts created by Isaac Moore, very similar to Baskerville's. Blythwood (talk) 00:15, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
