Partisan Sources[edit]

A question upon which I am ambivalent: Should the 2015 candidates be permitted (or, indeed, encouraged) to cite partisan sources for their announced intention to stand? For all candidates here, apparently partisan sources are cited but for two candidates there are also what might be described as third-party and (presumably) reliable sources for the same fact? I'm not inclined, myself, to remove these links at this stage, but perhaps they might be removed when a single list of all the candidates is published and cited?

The list appears as below (at the time of this comment):

General Election 2015: Bath
Party Candidate Votes % ±%
Liberal Democrats Steve Bradley [1]
UKIP Julian Deverell [2]
Conservative Ben Howlett [3]
Labour Ollie Middleton [4][5]
Independent Loraine Morgan-Brinkhurst [6][7]
Green Dominic Tristram [8]
