Hi Andy, This article is a stub but I feel that it deserves to be in the main article space. It would become more visible and probably be expanded further by other contributors. I have heard about of the basin's historical importance and believe it would make a worthwhile article that it could be included in the series of articles about the Bristol Floating Harbour. I made some small changes to it so that it could be moved into the main article space. I cannot move it and have added a wish that someone would move it.
