"turn it up to ten and saw the knobs off" and other nonsense[edit]

This article's tone is hardly encyclopaedic, and I somehow suspect much of it has been copied from a magazine or other publication. I barely remember anything about the Battered Wives beyond the Uganda Stomp. So, could someone else write something intelligible? ("Mayhem"?! No wonder he was deported).
