It should be the Battle for the Gold Pan. Not the Battle of the Gold Pan. I'm glad someone had the care to write about this.

Images[edit]

The current image layout sandwiches text between images and the infobox, discouraged per WP:IMGLOC, squeezing text down to two words on some lines. There simply isn't enough text on the page for so many images. The arenas are directly pertinent, but the players are just too much, especially since neither are even mentioned in the article ([1], [2]). I'm removing those pics, though they could be re-added if a section on players featured in the rivalry were added. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 22:33, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Coors Field game[edit]

74.93.234.102: Hello, sorry for removing the "outdoor game" symbol; didn't notice the key. But shouldn't the game at Coors be categorized as a Neutral site? It was counted as a DU home game, but it wasn't on their home ice. Regards, Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 06:34, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Per the 'home ice' issue - I have often seen neutral vs. home ice designations confused, even on team websites. I think it's safe to call it a 'home' game for Denver, as Colorado College is hundreds of miles away. Cheers. Bill McKenna (talk) 21:50, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is counted as a DU home game at denverpioneers.com and at uscho.com. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 23:30, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Series Standings[edit]

The Gold Pan series started in ~1993. I believe the standings from the very first game should be omitted. Thoughts? Movementtocontact (talk) 22:26, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Game Count[edit]

DU Hockey is calling the December 13, 2019 game the 321st match up, while we have it as number 320. I don't have time to research this right now, but something is amiss. Laszlo Panaflex (talk) 03:32, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
