New Article[edit]

I've started this article, to differentiate the attack on Afrin city, from the attack on Afrin Canton, which are often confused as they are both referred to as Afrin. Considering the size of the city, this is a substantial sized city in Syria, so this battle would be justified in having its own article. The city has been encircled, and Erdogan has announced the TAF are preparing to go in, so it would seem to be the first stage of the battle. I'll have a look for the bias in the article, was there anything specific that struck you as biased? Deathlibrarian (talk) 01:41, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article should be deleted per WP:CRYSTAL. The battle may start soon, and if it does, restart at Battle of Afrin, not this awkwardly phrased title. "The Battle for Afrin City" doesn't follow how any other modern battle article is named. GodsPlaaaaan (talk) 23:05, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article has been renamed, thanks for the suggestion GodsPlaaaaan.Not sure you have done the AFD properly, but as mentioned before, but the time you do, the Turks will probably have taken Afrin, things moving pretty fast. Deathlibrarian (talk) 07:33, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
