"Christian victory"[edit]

The battle box says the battle was a "Christian victory". Does it mean that Gwenddoleu was a pagan? His article doesn't mention that. Were there even any pagan Brittonic rulers left at the time? Owaineon (talk) 21:27, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This is fatuous. Gwenddolau was a direct descendant of Olk King Coel and 100 years earlier this was where St Patrick's father had his (Gretna) estate. All involved were Christian so the specification is nonsense. Freuchie (talk) 21:32, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
