Siege of Cimic House[edit]

Surely there should be some mention of the siege of CIMIC-House, where the British were victorious. 193.195.193.251 (talk) 10:20, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Danish withdrawal[edit]

I removed the following: "The Danish contingent of 470 soldiers were coming under attack and by 2 August the Danish army withdrew from Iraq." This suggests that the Danish Army withdrew solely because it was being fired upon. As of before the so called "Siege of UK bases in Basra", Denmark had lost 7 soldiers (4 as result of enemy activity), and a rough exit strategy had begun to take form in January 2007. The final plan came in March. While both facts in the sentence might be true, they are not related. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.104.153.43 (talk) 21:28, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
