Renaming[edit]

I don't think this is a good name for the article, are there alternatives we can use? Battle of Shaopo perhaps? _dk (talk) 23:39, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, since there are no traditional name for this campaign, but seems it is more of Campaign which consisting at least 4 different battles instead of 1 battle. any idea about alternative title?Ahendra (talk) 13:38, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Summoning Lds, who might have some ideas. _dk (talk) 22:34, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It appears to be a campaign with battles taking place at four different locations, so we can't really call it a "battle". How about Eastern Wu campaign against Cao Wei (241), or simply just Wu campaign against Wei (241)? By the way, 芍陂 is read Quèbēi in this context. LDS contact me 17:12, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No other words than agree from me personally, well feel free to edit anything incorrect about this campaignAhendra (talk) 00:02, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I retitled this to the Battle of Quebei and created a separate article for the Battle of Fancheng (241), which was the other major battle of the campaign. I also edited the information within this article to actually include information about the battle at Quebei, since the original article only detailed the battle of Fancheng, despite being labelled as the Quebei campaign. Although the campaign involved conflict in multiple locations, those conflicts can very easily be divided into the conflicts in the locations which affected the prelude/battle/aftermath at Fancheng and the conflicts which affected the prelude/battle/aftermath at Quebei, with the western segment of the campaign having no practical influence on the eastern segment of the campaign.
