Ceasefire in Ras al-Ayn[edit]

On the YPG[edit]

User:Applodion the YPG was formally created by the DBK and the DBK was the official governing body of the time. Other parties (like the Progressive Party) sent their members into the YPG. I think overemphasizing the PYD oversimplifies things and doesn't inform the reader.[1] Cheers, Leftist Commentary (talk) 05:27, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The PYD dominated the YPG from the start, so the issue of their formal loyalty is moot. The fighters of other parties were always a small minority. Regardless, I concur with your more recent edits. The focus should be put on the YPG/YPJ, and not on any political factions like PYD & DBK. Applodion (talk) 08:31, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
