"Battletoads LOL"?[edit]

Why does it say "Battletoads LOL video games instead of just "Battletoads Video Games"? I'm noticing it's that way on the main Battletoads game as well. SoheiFox (talk) 03:43, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I managed to fix the vandalism on the template but it doesn;t seem to fix it here. Anyone know what I did wrong? SoheiFox (talk) 15:14, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional Comic strip[edit]

I have a vague recollection of there being a short comic strip in some magazines at the time advertising this. Anyone else remember it?JFP (talk) 04:18, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proper Name of the Game[edit]

I'm not an expert on this game, but several promotional items I've seen call it Battletoads & Double Dragon. Granted, the ampersand isn't actually on the cover, I know we are supposed to go with the most commonly used title for the article name. Is there common usage of the forward slash as compared to the ampersand? Let me know if anyone thinks this should be moved or not. --Bchill53 (talk) 17:04, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree, the slash in name seems weird, and seems that an editor renamed the article for "consistency", but I don't see anything it needs to be consistent with. Also, I haven't found gaming articles that mention the game with the slash. I would be of opinion that the article should be named either Battletoads & Double Dragon or Battletoads & Double Dragon - The Ultimate Team, which is an actual name of game, which is also used in gaming magazines a lot. Maybe we should put the article up for renaming. --Sleeps-Darkly (talk) 05:36, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Road to GA[edit]

@HumanxAnthro, nice work on expanding this article! Are you considering nominating it for GA? czar 04:13, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, not as of now. There's a lot of incomplete work I did on this two years ago, and the gameplay sections should probably be cited from the reviews and not so much from the manual. User:HumanxAnthro (BanjoxKazooie) 16:16, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the compliment! User:HumanxAnthro (BanjoxKazooie) 16:16, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am actually planning a full re-write of the article, given some of the sources used. User:HumanxAnthro (BanjoxKazooie) 16:44, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
