The coordinates are wrong. It is 33.607071,-117.904936 or south south west of the mismarked island. You can see the small bridge and if you go to google street map at the edge of the road you can see the markings on the foot/cart bridge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.118.122.109 (talk) 07:54, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error[edit]

{{geodata-check}} The following coordinate fixes are needed for Bay Island, California. The coordinates should be 33°36'25.23"N 117°54'17.81"W, which is about 1550 feet southwest of where they currently are. —RThompson82 (talk) 19:55, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@RThompson82: Are you perhaps looking at a version of the article older than the current one? The coordinates currently in the article are 33°36′25″N 117°54′18″W, which are almost identical to the (overprecise) coordinates you suggest. The coordinates were emended on the sixth of this month by editor Scs, having formerly been 33°36′31″N 117°54′1″W, which is indeed about 1,500 feet northeast of the correct location. Maybe you need to clear your cache when viewing the page. Deor (talk) 14:00, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
