Opening heading[edit]

I'm thinking that this should be split off from the Baylor Health Care System, actually. BUMC is one of several hospitals that Baylor owns in the DFW metroplex.

I'm more than willing to go get photos of each facility, too. Anyone have thoughts on this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.226.69.145 (talk) 01:26, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Baylor University Medical CenterBaylor University Medical Center at Dallas — The Baylor Health Care System has begun calling the Baylor University Medical Center by Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas so that it can seperate itself from a facility with the same name in Houston. This is an urgent change and needs to be done as soon as possible! Thank you! Joker3400 (talk) 20:29, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Baylor University Medical Center at DallasBaylor University Medical Center – It appears this is the former name of this page, but was moved per the move discussion in 2010, above. In contrast to the move discussion, I see no evidence that this hospital is referred to by the present title of the article, per a Google search under the proposed and current names and the official website. Moreover, similarly named hospitals in Houston are "Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center - McNair campus" and Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, not the proposed name as the 2010 request suggests. So, I see no need for the "at Dallas" qualifier. Mdewman6 (talk) 01:53, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Support – the more concise name is more common as nom says. Dicklyon (talk) 02:27, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
