Citation needed in History section[edit]

"Beard oil obtained from natural oil such as almond, castor and grape seed has been used by Native American Indians who lived in rough climates for many years in order to keep their beards moisturized and radiant." If you look at my edits, you will see I am not a regular editor, so I have changed nothing, but surely a statement such as this requires some kind of Citation!? Were American Indians (a group not known to grow impressive facial hair in the first place) really concerned with "Keeping their beard moisturized and radiant"? To the original editor who composed that sentence, please understand, I mean no disrespect, in fact, it may be my favorite thing I have ever read on Wikipedia. Kudos! I just question its veracity. Citations are very weak[edit]

Researching "beard oil", almost everything seems to come from someone involved in the industry. This page is of little use - it's citations re: benefits of beard oil are very weak. Specifically the "Benefits" section.

The second citation is an Esquire article, https://www.esquire.com/style/grooming/a26189/beard-oil/ - they sell beard oil, the adverts are embedded in the article! The article itself doesn't cite any science behind their claims.

The third cited article from HuffPo doesn't immediately show the same conflict of interest, but again is not at all based on scientific articles.

I'm not a wikipedia editor so I don't know what to do about it, but this is in no way an "encyclopedic" article.
